These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website located at the-roster.net (the "Site"), operated by The Roster Institution LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("The Roster," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Joining the waitlist is free and carries no obligation. Providing your name and email address places you on our internal waitlist. Waitlist members will be notified before applications open to the general public. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation to apply, nor does it guarantee acceptance to The Roster.
We reserve the right to remove any person from the waitlist at our sole discretion and without notice.
When applications open, a non-refundable application fee of $5,000 USD will be required at the time of submission. This fee secures formal review of the application and does not constitute a deposit toward membership. Payment of the application fee does not guarantee acceptance.
All application fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal of application or rejection by the panel. The application fee secures formal review and is earned upon submission.
Accepted applicants will be invited to pay an annual membership fee of $50,000 USD, due within 14 days of notification of acceptance. Membership is personal and non-transferable. Membership decisions are made at the sole discretion of the panel and are final.
The Roster reserves the right to revoke membership at any time for conduct deemed inconsistent with the standards of the organization. No refund of membership fees will be issued upon revocation. In the event The Roster is unable to continue operations, active members will receive a pro-rata refund of unused membership fees. Application fees are non-refundable as they secure formal review which is completed upon submission.
The Roster awards up to ten $1,000,000 prizes each December to its most exceptional members. The Annual Prize is a merit-based contest governed by the Official Contest Rules published at the-roster.net/contest-rules.html. Selection is based entirely on demonstrated performance during the calendar year, as determined by private member nomination and independent panel deliberation.
The number of prizes awarded in any cycle reflects the size and quality of the founding class that year, as outlined in the Official Contest Rules. Any modifications to the prize structure are subject to the 90-day notice requirement and member protections set forth in the Official Contest Rules.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Florida.
